NBC bans Ric Hassani’s song
Yesterday, the NBC banned Ric Hassani’s hit song titled ‘Thunder fire you’. ‘Thunder fire you’ is a single released from Ric Hassani’s album which was released yesterday. The album is titled ‘The Prince I became’ and it has been met with generally positive reviews since its release

The NBC is the National Broadcasting Commission and the broadcast regulator of Nigeria. The NBC’s major reason for banning a song from airplay is if it contains indecent or vulgar lyrics.

Remember that around August 2018, the NBC also banned Falz the Bahd guy’s ‘This is Nigeria’ a version of Childish Gambino’s ‘This is America’. The song addressed the consistent issue of corruption and insecurity in Nigeria, but was banned because it contained ‘it aired indecent and vulgar lyrics’
