Muhammadu Buhari’s son-in-law known as Kumo is declared wanted among others for embezzling about $61 million housing fund
Yesterday, the Independent Corrupt practice commission(ICPC) declared Buhari’s son-in-law wanted for embezzling a total of $61 million housing fund. He is declared wanted alongside his accomplices- Mr. Bola Ogunsola and Mr. Tarry Yusuf.
Gimba Yau Kumo- Buhari’s second daughter’s husband, had appropriated funds allocated for the National Housing fund
In 2016, Kumo married Buhari’s second daughter. He was the former managing director of the Federal Mortgage bank of Nigeria.

According to Sahara Reporters, in a statement signed by by Azuka C. Ogugua, ICPC Spokesperson, the public are urged to provide information about the whereabouts of Mr Kumo and his accomplices.
The statement read;
“The persons whose pictures appear above, Mr. Tarry Rufus, Mr. Gimba Yau Kumo and Mr. Bola Ogunsola, are hereby declared WANTED by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in connection with issues bordering on misappropriation of National Housing Funds and diversion of the sum of Sixty Five Million dollars ($65,000,000),” the commission said.
“Anyone who has useful information on their whereabouts should report to ICPC Headquarters Abuja, any of the ICPC State Offices or the nearest police station.”
