Why 2022 Grammys may be postponed
Excitement has been agog for the 2022 Grammys (As it has always been!), but this year’s Grammy Awards may be taking a different turn and consequently postponed.
The 2021 Grammy Awards was held virtually, and it became the first kind of the event edition due to Covid-19 restrictions. Meanwhile, with the new variant of Covid-19 called “Omicron“, there might not only be a repetition of the 2021 edition, but a postponement.
Although many sources have been going on about the likelihood of the event postponement, the Recording Academy has been silent on this recent development.

Meanwhile, with the new variant of Covid, the postponement is highly likely. This year’s Grammy Awards has Trevor Noah returning as host while Doja Cat, Billie Ellish and Justin Bieber are the most nominated acts.
Nigerian singer Burna Boy also gets his third Grammy Nomination through association with his song performance with Angelique Kidjo while Wizkid also gets his first individual Nomination for “Made in Lagos” Deluxe {2021}
The 2022 Grammys is scheduled to hold on January 31st,2022
