Meet the Characters of House of the Dragon

One of the most intriguing things about Game of Thrones was the influx of characters and their specialty. These characters were usually depicted by their Houses, and the most interesting of these houses, were the Targaryens.

  • The Targaryens are powerful, some of them are dragons
  • Asides the Targaryens were the Lannisters, whose power was wealth, authority and Territory.
  • The Baratheons were also an interesting lot, while
  • The Starks were known for their integrity and blind bravery.

However, out of all these Houses, the Targaryens were the most interesting characters. It is therefore not surprising that HBO is doing a spinoff show based on their House alone titled “House of The Dragon”

Here are the characters you should know in House of the Dragon.

She had three children with Laenor. The children were: Jacaerys, Lucerys and Joffrey. But the marriage ended. Later on, she was married to her uncle- Daemon Targaryen, with whom she also had some children.

As a character in House of the Dragon, Rhaenyra was King Viserys’s oldest child and his first daughter. King Viserys 1 stated that after his death, since Rhaenyra is his oldest child, the throne should pass to her.

This would mean that Rhaenyra would be the first Queen Regnant of Westeros.

However, when her father did die, the council didn’t want her to be queen, partly because she was a woman and partly because she was a woman that didn’t take orders from others. As a character in House of the Dragon.

Rhaenyra is one of the House of the Dragon characters that is prepared to do anything to claim the throne since her father had in fact, stated that she should ascend the throne rather than her younger brother; who is in fact- her stepbrother.
