“Soso” lyrics Meaning by Omah Lay {Fully Explained}

Stanley Okorie “Billionaire” Lyrics

Spyro Who is your guy lyrics is a song that speaks about checking up on people; especially your friends to inquire how they are doing because that’s just extremely important. The song is also about supporting your friends and coming through for them

There are times that we go through life and forget about other people, especially our friends because we are so busy. In actuality, we don’t really forget them, but we don’t check up on them.

Spyro who is your guy speaks to this by stating that we definitely care about those people and that our friends can rest on shoulders to depend on us because we need each other in this life.

He also uses Who is your guy lyrics to assure his friends that they can never suffer because they have him. As friends, we are supposed to have each other’s backs because that’s when we can truly call ourselves friends.

Who is your guy lyrics

It’s also when we can pull ourselves out of the most complicated situations. This is what Spyro Who is your guy lyrics emphasizes.

Abi Kin pe Rexxie Meaning {Explained}

There is always the part where we realize that we are all that we need in this world, but that doesn’t mean we have to leave other people out of the equation.

At the end of the day, you find that you will always need people, you will always need your friends. We need them for dependence, for consolation, to share things with.

The bond with a friend can never be overemphasized because at the end of the day, we find out that there is that innate desire in us to care for someone, to chat with someone about how our lives are going.

We should always be there for our friends and this is what Spyro Who is your guy lyrics talks about.

Delivery

Give it up for Spyro, his delivery on Who is your guy is just so cool. It speaks to us in such an amazing ay. The fact that Spyro even uses quite an upbeat temp for his song means that he made it to be a jam that can be enjoyed so much.

There is nothing that holds anyone back from listening to this song because the delivery is just so cool and passionate.

Relatability

Spyro’s Who is your guy is so relatable because we find ourselves in situations where we haven’t called our friends since or we haven’t checked up on them.

This song is calling us to do that and care about our people because it matters so much. We need to ask if they are going through anything and offer them our shoulders to cry on.

Spyro Who is your guy lyrics

Replay Value

Spyro’s Who is your guy has a huge replay value because of its sheer lyricism and the reliability, which speaks to us so much. You can listen to this song on and on without getting tired of it. And the vocals on it too is gold!

Super Freaky Girl Music Video Review: Nods and Misses

Nicki Minaj just released the music video for her US Billboard #1 single “Super Freaky Girl” and here is the review

Super Freaky Girl Music Video Review

Nods

There are so many nods in Nicki Minaj’s Super Freaky Girl music video.

First, the acting is really on point, and yes, Alexander Ludwig looks like he’s having a good time.

Super Freaky Girl review

Also, Nicki Minaj’s expressions in Super Freaky Girl music video was cool, and it’s great that she was doing so “queenly” in the video while showing how much of a super freaky girl she is.

Based on direction, it would seem that attention was paid to every detail.

There seems to be a lot to glean from this Super Freaky Girl Music Video.

Super Freaky Girl music Video review; based, is actually applauding, considering that they stuck to the theme and it doesn’t get boring at all.

Super Freaky Girl Music Video Review

Misses

The fact that just one set was used for this expressive form of art is undermining.

Super Freaky Girl is a bop, but you don’t use one location and one single storyline for a song like this even though it’s just two minutes long.

The fact that Nicki Minaj is indeed a Super Freaky Girl was supposed to be shown more than the fact that she teases her man with several weird stuff and turns him crazy with her body.

Super freaky girl review

Nicki Minaj

Being a freaky person is sometimes something you pull out suddenly even if people don’t expect that of your persona, and we really wanted to see that in the music video.

Apart from that, Super Freaky Girl looks like an intriguing watch

Kendrick Lamar “We Cry Together” review: Nods and Misses

Super Freaky Girl” is a song by Trinidadian-born American rapper and singer Nicki Minaj. It was released on August 12, 2022, by Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records as Minaj’s first solo single in three years.

An upbeat, raunchy song, it prominently samples Rick James’s 1981 single “Super Freak”, as Minaj raps about her sexual fantasies and endeavors, while also boasting about her career.

It received comparisons to Minaj’s 2014 track “Anaconda“, as both tracks feature classic samples and sexual lyrics.

Here is What Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” Means

Upon its release, the song broke Spotify’s record for the biggest debut for a solo female rap song. With the song’s debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, it became the second female hip hop song by a female soloist to debut at number-one after Lauryn Hill’s 1998 single “Doo Wop (That Thing)”.

It also marked the third US number-one single of Minaj’s career, as well as her first number-one song as a solo artist.

The song also topped the chart in New Zealand, becoming Minaj’s first number-one single there. In Europe, the song also achieved commercial success. The track charted at number nine in Ireland and ten in the United Kingdom.

Lyrics

[Chorus: Nicki Minaj & Rick James]
He want a F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl)
F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl)
A-K, A-K, A-K
E-A-K (Freaky girl)
F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl)

[Verse 1: Nicki Minaj]
One thing about me, I’m the baddest alive
He know the prettiest bitch didn’t come until I arrive
I don’t let bitches get to me, I fuck they man if they try
I got a princess face, a killer body, samurai mind
They can’t be Nicki, they so stupid, I just laugh when they try
A thong bikini up my ass, I think I’ll go for a dive
His ex bitch went up against me, but she didn’t survive
On applications I write “pressure” ’cause that’s what I apply (Brr)
P-P-P-Pressure applied, can’t fuck a regular guy
Wetter than umbrellas and stickier than apple pie

[Pre-Chorus: Nicki Minaj]
I can lick it, I can ride it while you slippin’ and slidin’
I can do all them little tricks and keep the dick up inside it
You can smack it, you can grip it, you can go down and kiss it
And every time he leave me ‘lone, he always tell me he miss it

[Chorus: Nicki Minaj & Rick James]
He want a F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl)
F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl)
A-K, A-K, A-K
E-A-K (Freaky girl)
F-R-E-A-K (Freaky girl

[Verse 2: Nicki Minaj]
‘Cause, what the fuck? This ain’t Chanel, nigga, custom down?
Like, what the fuck? This ain’t Burberry, custom brown
He said “Could you throw it back while you touch the ground?”
Then he said “Do that pussy purr?” I said “Yup, meow”
Hold up, fuck-boys, ain’t need no for you to roll up
Ain’t no need for you to double tap neither, scroll up

Keep these bitches on they toes like Manolo
Be on the lookout when I come through, BOLO
Oh, woah, elegant bitch with a ho glow
If it ain’t big, then I won’t blow
Eeny, meeny, miny, moe
Fuck is the tea? I just F’d a G (Let’s go)
Made him say “Uh,” just ask Master P (Let’s go)
Ball so hard, I just took a knee (Let’s go)
Get me rocky ASAP, nigga, word to Rih (Let’s go)

{Review}: Here is why “Buga” music video falls short of expectations

{Review}: Here is why “Buga” music video falls short of expectations

Kizz Daniel Buga Music video review

Buga Music Video Review

TG Omori is a brilliant director, but somehow, Buga Music video falls short of expectations.

The music video for Buga was recently released and already, it has garnered over 3 million views in just three days. But the question is not if the music video is good enough to have garnered that number of views, the question is if the music video does justice to the hit “Buga” song.

Buga music video review

Video Concept

First, the concept for the video is not bad. But what might have happened here is that the concept was over flogged.

buga music video

We get that a carnival would make the video more colorful. But there are just too many people and you don’t know who to look at or look for in the video.

The result of this is lack of coordination and it appears everyone is doing something we don’t know. There are even fewer scenes of Tekno and Kizz Daniel together or Tekno singing his verse.

Choreography

Second, the lack of choreography makes the video a little boring to watch. Buga is a dance-themed song.

TG Omori could have taken something from the book of the various dance challenges that they had and even children participated in.

,izz Daniel buga music video review

There is no choreography for a dance song like “Buga” in the music video and this just understates the energy the song and the music video is meant to deliver.

A choreography would have made the music video more thrilling. I mean, there are kids in the video for crying out loud, and we don’t get enough takes from them .

Or even from Kizz Daniel and Tekno giving us some moves.

The only thing that stands out is the flamboyant colors and editing.

Takes

Too many takes also gives the video a sketchy plot.

Was this music video even scripted? The music video is going to be the only one for a smash hit of a song like “Buga” and it doesn’t do enough justice to it whatsoever.

kizz daniel buga music video

Kizz Daniel/Tekno

TG Omori is a great director, but Buga Music video does not really cut it.

It’s obvious the music video is not garnering views because it’s that great, but because Buga is a hit song and people want to see what the music video looks like.

Fireboy is the Bad Boy in “Playboy” Video

Fireboy is the Bad Boy in “Playboy” Video

Fireboy “Playboy” Video

Fireboy just released the video for playboy and he is the bad boy without remorse or regret. He wants what he wants and he goes for it.

In Fireboy Playboy Video, the most interesting part is the poker game part. And then we are so pleased to see Rema in Fireboy Playboy video, the duo kick ass in the poker game and it looks very amusing indeed.

The more amusing thing is when Fireboy wins at the end and decides to take the lady he beat home.

It’s like she is the trophy he won at the end, and that is what Fireboy playboy video points at.

He is not particularly interested in the poker game as such.

Playboy music video

All he wants is the ladies to take home with him.

In fact, it would seem that his presence in the poker game was planned because in Fireboy Playboy video, he arrives at the same time with the ladies, which means he must have had prior information that they were coming.

Therefore, his presence in the poker game is calculated and he calls for backup- Rema, who comes to help him win.

But Fireboy’s victory is not complete without the company of the lady.

At the end of the day, Fireboy Playboy video ends with him going home with her because he is the playboy, not her. He plays the games and sets the rules, not the lady.

Hence, no one can pull a fast one on him.

TurnTable Charts: Nigeria’s Original Billboard

Flaws

Fireboy Playboy video concept is commendable. TG Omori went the extra mile for this video. But there is a flaw at the beginning of the video.

fireboy playboy music video

The stereotypical way of shooting music videos and having the male singer dance around in a room was boring to watch at the beginning.

It was not until the poker game scene came in that Fireboy playboy video started getting interesting.

The video should have started with the poker game, and then the scenes at the beginning should have been inserted in the middle of the scenes of the poker game.

That way we don’t get bored at all.

Apart from this, Fireboy playboy video was amusing to watch.

“My Man” Video: Yemi Alade releases sizzling visuals

“My Man” Video: Yemi Alade releases sizzling visuals

Yemi Alade releases sizzling visuals for My Man Video

Yemi Alade My Man Video

Yemi Alade premiered the video for the visuals of her first single of the year “My Man” and it looks good!

Stream below:

Video Concept

Although Yemi Alade’s My Man was off to a slow start initially, it picked up when some sizzling scenes of Yemi Alade and a hot looking guy were serenading each other.

The Music Video for Yemi Alade’s My Man complements the song to an extent that it becomes impossible not to reconcile the theme of My Man with the video concept

my man video yemi alade

Mixing and Production

The mixing and Production of Yemi Alade’s my man fits the song perfectly and makes the song a pleasant listen, especially by allowing their voices to rise above the mix and be heard perfectly and not blend with the mix. It makes the song lyrics stand out.

Delivery

Yemi Alade and Kranium’s delivery on My Man Video is amazing. They deliver the video well, although Kranium’s delivery on the song could have been better, Yemi Alade compliments his delivery with an even more passionate one.

Replay Value

Yemi Alade’s My Man video has an amount of replay value because of its catchy phrase of “My Man and the sizzling romantic scenes with the hot guy she featured in the video.

music video of my man by yemi alade

Flaw (s)

It would seem that the major flaw with this video is that there were some takes that could have been cut out.

There some scenes in Yemi Alade’s My Man video that were unnecessary and could have been complimented with better choreography.

Relatability

Yemi Alade’s My Man video is relatable. We always want those we are in relationship with to take care of us in the best ways possible and Yemi Alade’s my man shows this. So yes, Yemi Alade’s My Man Video is relatable

Lyricism

The lyrics of Yemi Alade’s My Man sounds appropriate enough for the song and establish that she is truly invested in him because not only would she do everything for him, he would do the same thing for him.

In his lyrics for “My Man”, where Kranium bridges the theme of Yemi Alade’s My man to “My Woman”, he says she would eagerly do everything for him and he would too.

The lyrics of Yemi Alade’s My man is okay, but it could have been better in the sense that the lyrics sound simple to a point. It sounds like something you hear every day; about giving salary and doing everything for themselves.

It would have been better if more interesting lyrics had been added to Yemi Alade’s My Man. Meanwhile, the lyrics of Yemi Alade’s MY man still serves the song.

A kudos is the repeated catchphrase of “My Man”. It makes the song sound memorable and makes you remember that and repeat it anytime you want to remind the song.

Watch Magixx and Ayra Starr shine in “Love don’t cost a dime” re-up video

Watch Magixx and Ayra Starr shine in “Love don’t cost a dime” re-up video

Love don’t cost a dime music video Magixx ft Ayra Starr

Magixx and Ayra Starr are out with their video for Love don’t cost a dime re-up.

Love don’t cost a dime re-up video

Stream the video for Love don’t cost a dime re-up below

In “Love don’t cost a dime” re-up video, Magixx and Ayra Starr explore romanticism through love lyrics.

In the video, Magixx tries to show that Love- true love does not cost a dime.

This means he doesn’t talk about love alone on “Love don’t cost a dime“. He talks about true love. Which is why he says:

“You don’t need any gucci bag baby”.

What Ozumba Mbadiwe means {Reekado Banks’ Song}

The relatability of this song is in question, but that’s what makes it a unique song. When you listen to love songs now, it’s about what the guy wants to buy for the girl. The question becomes “Is love about the benefits”?

In the video for Love don’t cost a dime re-up, Ayra Starr gives Magixx so much attention by taking care of him.

video of love dont cost a dime magixx ft ayra

It’s true you can’t rule out the benefits and what may seem like “enjoyment“.

But in Love don’t cost a dime re-up video, Magixx and Ayra Starr claim this is not what should define love, and they are so right.

It is also a turning point considering that they are both young and not decked with the insinuations that love and money, or material things must go hand in hand first.

What Magixx and Ayra Starr point out in Love don’t cost a dime re-up video  is that true love is permanent while these other things are temporary.

Yes, they may be needed, but they should not be the basis.

In Love don’t cost a dime re-up video Magixx and Ayra Starr outline what true love should be. True love does not cost a dime-which means it should not be circumstantial. It should be about feelings, not what misplaced societal values make it to be.

In love don’t cost a dime video, Ayra Starr and Magixx try to single out a norm that love- especially between young people- should not be about the material things they both get from the relationship. It should not be the focus, but an addition.

Lyricism

Of course, the lyrics are on point. Magixx himself is a very talented musician and lyricist. While Ayra Starr is good with song hooks and making songs very memorable by incorporating amazing lyrics into the song.

Mixing/producing/Song Engineering

“Love don’t cost a dime” does not have extra things or glibs that make the song tiring. It is straight to the point. The beats are on point and the modulation on the verses are cool.

This also exalts its replay value- because it is a short and a pleasant listen. You want to listen to it over and over again because it just sounds that good!

love don't cost a dime video ft ayra starr

Flaw(s) Love don’t cost a dime re-up video

The flaw in love don’t cost a dime re-up video is that Ayra Starr was supposed to be Magixx’ love interest in the music video.

That would have created so much chemistry in the love don’t cost a dime re-up video for the viewers to enjoy.

Ckay’s “Emiliana” receives Gold Certification in France

The concept for love don’t cost a dime re-up video was amazing, and kudos to Olu the Wave, but that should have been picked so the video could have been a more interesting watch.

Lyrics

Baby Na the way that you talk and the things that you say,
wey Dey make I feel alright
And I catch a vibe anytime that I look in your face
Tell me why ya look so fine

Baby girl I see you, wanna ride you like a bicycle
Na you Dey blow my mind from a mile or two
And I no go like, you light up my day

And when she tell me my love, is your love baby
She no want the gucci bag or the fendi
Girl she gimme butterflies in my belly, ouulorr
And when she tell me my love is your love baby
She no want the Gucci bag or the fendi

Girl she gimme butterflies in my belly ou no
When she tell me my love is your love baby
If my world was drowning baby she go save me
Girl she gimme butterflies in my belly ouu lo
