Ayra Starr debuts no 3 on Billboard as Next big sound

Following the release of her eponymous EP in 2020, and the recent release of her debut album titled “19& dangerous”, Ayra Starr debuts as Number 3 on Billboard as “Next Big Sound”

Fast-rising and sensational singer who is 19 and still “raining it hot” in the Nigerian music industry and the global sphere has debuted as Number 3 on Billboard as the “Next Big Sound”. This is Ayra’s second debut on Billboard after the debut of her first official single “Away” which debuted on Billboard Global Triller.

This is a big win for Ayra, considering that her career is one year old and she is in fact, very young. Most likely, there are only 3 female Nigerian artists who have debuted on Billboard in this position. Tems, who has been on Billboard also as the “Next Big sound” for the past two weeks and Yemi Alade, who debuted as “Next Big Sound” as far back as 2016.

Ayra Starr was discovered by Mavin Executive- Don Jazzy and she was signed to the label.
