Recent news and speculations have greeted the air about the death of Alao Akala- former Governor of Oyo State.
Although these speculations have not been approved, some sources close to him say he died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Alao Akala was formerly Governor of Oyo State and was born Born on the 3rd of June 1950, at Ogbomoso in the Ogbomoso North Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alao-Akala had his elementary school at Osupa Baptist Day School, Ogbomoso.
Alao-Akala proceeded to the Kamina Barracks Middle School, 5th Battalion of Infantry in Tamale, GhanaPassed Staff College (Psc) 1990, Diploma in Business Administration (1998), Doctor of Civil Law (DCL) Honoris Causa, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso (2006), Doctor of Science (Political Science) Honoris Causa, Lead City University, Ibadan (2008).
Recently, he attended the late Olubadan’s funeral and has been tending to court cases about his supposed fraudulent activities while he was in office.
At best, the speculations may not be true until confirmation from his family and relatives that he is truly dead.
