âBad Since â97â Track is the EP opener and itâs actually really good. The delivery needs work, but lyrically, the track sounds really amazing.
It is a quick summary of how BNXN describes himself as a musical genius and that he is here to take his place.
It is really good as it sets the tone for Bad Since â97 itself.
BNXN Bad Since â97 EP Review shows that âBad Man Wickedâ is almost too synonymous with Bad Since â97 because apart from the fact that the mixing and production makes the songs sound identical, the fact that we just listened to âBad Since â97â makes the song theme clash.
Note on the track sequencing here, Bad Man Wicked should not have come as number 2 track immediately after Bad Since â97.
âMany Waysâ Featuring Wizkid lacks that staunch delivery needed to make this song a hit.
The song has a sultry âhaving sex-songâ vibe, but it should have been made to sound sexier than it was.
However, that side, âMany Waysâ remain a love/bedroom track. Meanwhile, it is not the best track on Bad Since 97â EP
âKenkeleâ Â is a single off this album and we are here for it. The delivery is on point, the song sounds so original and is reminiscent of that really contemporary African sound that blends into that Afro vibe that we really want to listen to.
No wonder it is a hit track. Both BNXN and Wande Coal did their best. Arguably, it has one of the best lyrics and it is still the most replayable song so far on Bad Since 97â Ep. The chorus is also really catchy.
Lastly, BNXN Bad Since â97 EP Review indicates that In My Mind is such a beautiful song that may get ignored by fans on this EP. It is such an Afro-classic RNB song that makes Bad Since â97 EP sound so holistic.
It has that amazing percussion and comparison that makes the song peaks at Relatability.
Then comes Modupe, Olamide really made this song a jam. It has slow beats and he still ran with it to make it an amazing song. Modupe comes after Kenkele and âIn My Mindâ in terms of replay value.
As an EP closer, Loose Emotions is not bad, it has good lyrics, but the delivery is disturbing. This track would have been a hit if it had been well delivered.
But then, the idea may be that it wasnât made to be a hit song and therefore much was not put into it

Buju- Daniel Benson, who now goes by BNXN, was born on May 19, 1997. His genre of music- of Afrobeats, is referred to as âAfrofusionâ.
He is a songwriter, singer and record producer who got very famous after featuring Ladipoe on the song âFeelingâ which later on became a hit.
BNXN also gained maximum attention for his refix of âItalyâ with Blaq Diamond.
BNXN has also been on a number of respectable collaborations like âMoodâ with Wizkid off his âMade in Lagosâ deluxe album, and âBlingâ with Blaqbonez, who recently released a new single- âCommanderâ.
To date, BNXN has released two extended plays {EP} titled âSorry Iâm lateâ Sorry Iâm Late is the extended play (EP) project of Nigerian Singer and songwriter BNXN, It was released on October 27, 2021, under the management of T.Y.E/ Empire Records.
It features guest appearances from Nigerian Highlife music duo, The Cavemen, and production from Steph, Perlz, Denzl, Timi Jay and Rexxie. Mixed and mastered by Vtek and Poppil.

Buju {BNXN} performed his first show in London on November 30, which marked the beginning of his âSorry Iâm Lateâ tour.
On the 22nd of December, 2021, Buju headlined his first sold-out concert tagged âBuju: Sorry I am Lateâ, which is also his debut concert in Lagos. The concert was held at Balmoral Convection centre, Lagos.
The concert had surprise performances from top stars that include Wizkid, Burnaboy, Omah Lay, Zlatan and Zinoleesky.
Buju- BNXN has over 16 personal singles and eight songs as a featured artist.
