Teniola Aladese Biography
Teniola Aladese is a Nigerian Actress and movie producer.
She is famed for winning the 2022 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards for being a Trailblazer in the movie industry. This notable award has been won by popular actors such as Bisola Aiyeola and Jide Kene
Teniola Aladese attended Covenant University in Nigeria where she studied Mass Communication. She is the last born of a family of six children.
Movie Production
Teniola Aladese started her career in Nollywood as a production manager and coordinator. This was around 2013. By the time it was 2015, Teniola Aladese had already been a production manager for over thirty (30) Africa Magic Original Films.
Around that time, she served as the production coordinator for Africa Magic Original TV Series titled “Hush”
Teniola Aladese still serves as a production manager to date. She was a line producer for the Drama Series titled “Forbidden”. Currently, she serves as a line producer on IK Osakioduwa’s “Comedy Nites”
On the Africa Magic Show where she acts (Jemeji), she also serves as a production manager
Acting Career
After serving as a production manager and coordinator for years, Teniola Aladese finally decoded to start acting in movies.
Her first role was in a Chris Eneaji movie titled “Perfectly Flawed”. She then starred in Dolapo Adeleke’s mini TV Series titled “This is it”.
On the Africa Magic Television Series- Jemeji, she is “Akweyon”.
In 2018, she was the lead in Director Bunmi Ajakaiye’s short film titled “Fade“.
The film premiered at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Paris, 2019. In 2019, Teniola played the role of Halima in the short film titled “Her”. She also starred in Déjà vu, with Baaj Adebule and Ayoola Ayolola.
Currently, Teniola Aladese stars as “Lara” in the web series- “Lara of Lagos”, she also starred as “Folashade Kuku” in the television series: Unbroken”
She starred in the popular Nigerian Film titled “Superstar” alongside Timini Egbuson and Nancy Isime. She also starred as “Amanda” in the 2022 cinematic movie “Loving Amanda”

In 2022, Teniola Aladese was awarded the Trailblazer Award at the 2022 Africa Movie Viewer’s Choice Awards. She was presented the award by Hollywood Actresses- Tasha Smith and Sidra Smith, along with $2,000 from the actresses and #1,000,000 from AMVCA
