Odudu Otu wins Gulder Ultimate Search 2021

The 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search which started on October 16, 2021 and aired up to December 19, 2021, has seen Odudu Otu emerge as its winner.

Odudu Otu is from Akwa-Ibom state and he appears to be a sports enthusiast. It was surprising to a lot of people that he actually emerged as the winner of the ultimate search.

Odudu Otu had tried his best to remain on the show. In fact, he didn’t seem to have the problem-solving capabilities like the other contestants, especially like Damilola and Damola at the finals.

Odudu Otu came into the jungle of the Gulder Ultimate Search as a “Wild card”. In the Ultimate Search, he was part of the Iron clan which had members like Damola, Esitima, Yankari, Gerald and Tobechuckwu.

Odudu emerged as the winner of Gulder Ultimate Search after discovering the Chest which contains the secret of the proverbial Akolo’s secret brew. In groups, it seemed like Odudu Otu did not perform excellently.

However, in the final episodes where individual tasks were given, he did them as efficiently and smart as possible. It was at this stage that viewers started rooting for him to win the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search.

As the winner of Gulder Ultimate Search 2021, Odudu Otu is to go home with

■A SUV and
■A return ticket to Dubai.

The Gulder Ultimate Search season 12, started with 18 contestants. It started running from October 16, 2021, and aired up until December 19, 2021, on Saturdays and Sundays from 8pm to 9pm.

■Solomon Yankari, 26-year old fitness Fitness Instructor from Bauchi,

■Emmanuel Nnebe, 29-year old Paralegal from Anambra

Gulder Ultimate Search is a Nigerian Reality Television Series sponsored by Nigerian Breweries. The first edition was in 2004 and it involves the struggle of contestants in a jungle for a hidden treasure. The struggle is called “The Ultimate Search” while the winner is called “The Ultimate Man/woman” (as the case may be).
