73 year old man discovered to have been sleeping with a thirteen year old girl.

On Sunday January 31st 2021, in Iyana-Church, Ibadan, a 73 year old man was discovered to have been sleeping with a thirteen year old teenage girl who lived in the same house as him.

The teenage girl (Name withheld) disclosed that he had been sleeping with her since she was ten years old. The man is a tenant in her grandparents’ house where she stayed.

It all came out in the open when her mother took her to a wedding. Seeing all the pomp and pageantry, the mother asked if her daughter wanted something as glamorous as that. The girl replied affirmatively. ‘That’s good’ her mother said. ‘But you have to be a virgin to get married, okay? The girl looked at her mother in shock and distress. ‘But the old man in my house has been sleeping with me since I was 10’ she replied naively.

The mother’s jaw did not only drop, she felt shattered. Her daughter later explained that the man said he would kill her if she ever disclosed anything he did to her to anyone. However, she wasn’t the only one he was sleeping with, he was also sleeping with another teenage girl in his church.

The 73 year old man has a celestial church and he used it to perpetuate his acts. He would entice/deceive the girls and tell them to come to church, then he would do all sorts of things he wanted with them. Sometimes, he would tell them to go straight to his church on their way back from school.

The man has four wives, and it was disclosed that wife number 4 that is with him now was also impregnated by him when she used to watch television in his apartment. When she heard the news, she rolled on the floor in emotional agony considering that she had given everything to take perfect care of the man. In fact, there was a time he fell sick and was on the verge of death and she had to set aside her business to take care of him. She also wondered why he would do such a thing considering he also has a daughter.

When residents heard the news, they gathered and beat the hell out of him. Some even contemplated burning him immediately while others opted to calling the police. He was then taken to ‘Iyanganku’ police station where he currently awaits his fate. Before he was taken away, he begged to be killed so he would not suffer the shame he was going through at the moment and the one to come.
