Portable "Ogo Forever". A good enough listen? {Review}

After the smashing success of his last hit single “Zazoo Zehh” which is currently charting on billboard, Portable is here with another single titled “Ogo Forever”.

The title of the song seems proportionate to how he was shot into limelight after featuring with Rap King Olamide and Poco Lee on “Zazoo Zehh” despite numerous ownership rights controversy.

There is one sure thing, Portable is a talented artist, and though his genre of music fits more into “Fuji” than Afrobeat or Afropop, he will definitely have his own pool of fans who will always be committed to listening to his music.

There seems to be an amount of commendable lyricism in “Ogo forever”, he doesn’t just recycle the chorus or batter the song with glibs, there are things to hold on to, and that’s Portable praying to God for protection as he embarks on a full-on career in the Nigerian music industry.

It is no gainsaying that the artist will enjoy a considerable amount of attention, but this attention can only be spurred by his consistency in making music even if the reception does not go as high as he wants. He has a reliable fan base.
