Wizkid “Machala” Meaning- The Carterefe Song {Explained}

Nigerian Artists on Billboard Chart

Lyricism

Machala lyrics talks about how Carterefe supposedly met Wizkid in Ghana and this inspired him to write a song about him.

Machala lyrics is an ode to Wizkid to praise him for how big he is and how far he has come.

Machala lyrics also talks about how the singer is greatly inspired by Wizkid and he is now supposedly looking like him because people accord him respect because he has met Wizkid.

Also, Machala lyrics also speaks to how the singers are now making money because if they hadn’t been making money, one of them would probably not have met Wizkid and they would have lost that great opportunity.

Machala lyrics points to how the guys have dedicated a whole song to him because he is simply one of the greatest to ever do it.

Machala lyrics indicates how Wizkid has gone international and how everyone wants to be like him Like Wizkid, the singers want to be like Wizkid now and they can’t hid it.

It would seem that Machala lyrics was brought out by the fact that the guys met Wizkid in Ghana and they probably asked his permission to sing “Machala” or they probably didn’t.

Relatability

This song is relatable in ways that it sounds catchy and it is a song of adulation and credit to Wizkid.

I mean, we know they also did it to get streams from Wizkid fans, but the song is relatable in some ways.

Carterefe Machala lyrics

Machala lyrics for one, gives Wizkid the much needed respect on the song and how it has given them the needed energy to make their debut.

Also, Machala lyrics talks about how they want to “focus” like Wizkid and go global. They “don’t want to like any girl” because girls are obviously distractions and they need to be like Wizkid- The Machala.

Also, these guys sound like a mash up of Zinoleesky and Rema, weird…

Delivery

Carterefe and Berri Tiga deliver this song and that’s what makes it more enjoyable apart from the lyrics. Their delivery on this song is spanking, and it really helps the song.

It increases the relay value of the song and inspires us to listen to the song as many times as we can.

Flaw(s)

This writer is trying very hard to find a flaw with this song. However, Machala lyrics, as well as its delivery, makes this song sound like a jam.

True, it was made with Wizkid’s name, but it honestly sounds so good it might be a Wizkid song. The dancehall influence on this song is mad….
