Chloe Bailey, mononymously known by her stage name Chloe, has released her third official solo single with the video and there is just a lot to say about it. Ever since the Singer went solo, Chloe has been making some bop songs that we just cannot get tired of listening to.

Chloe’s Surprise is Simple
Surprise is embedded with relatively simple lyrics and even a theme that is so easily relatable to. The music video further offers something about a relationship that works well.
Chloe suggests with Surprise that they best way to make a relationship work is to never get tired of each other and come up with new ways to make things interesting.
There is something about the music video and the song that shows ease in a relationship between two young people. It should be like that most of the time.
Besides, Chloe implies with Surprise that her boyfriend being good to her is what will make her reciprocate the act.
The reason for this is not far-fetched. Women are more likely to keep their cool in a relationship because they don’t have problems identifying their feelings and sharing them. Men like to bottle it all in sometimes, and this makes it hard for a woman to know all what her man is thinking.
Chloe’s Surprise gives us that side of being in a relationship that works because the partners want to make it work.
It’s intoxicating
Surprise may not have the intensity of “Treat me” or “Have Mercy”, but it is intoxicating.
You can’t forward this song, you can’t not fall in love with the music video- especially with Broderick Hunter in it.
There are so many things that make Chloe’s Surprise Music video a great watch, but the chemistry between both Singer and Model is just what makes it intoxicating.
Chloe does not hold back on Surprise by showing us how a steamy relationship with work. She did understand the assignment. Surprise is a nice listen.
Flaw(s)
It’s hard trying to find a flaw. It’s amazing that Chloe did not necessarily try to assign choreography to Surprise because, honestly, the music video did not need it.
Although it would have been better if there were more takes of scenes that showed Chloe and Boderick in other places besides the apartment. Their steamy on-screen chemistry is what holds our attention.
