According to the Nigerian Box Office, A Tribe Called Judah grossed #60M (Sixty million Naira) within 24 hours of its debut in cinemas, From Friday December 15 to Saturday December 16.

After the launch of SHE on Prime Video, fans might have assumed that was the sole offering from the actress this year. However, Akindele shatters those expectations by reaffirming that A Tribe Called Judah is another highlight to anticipate in the same year, as expected at the end of the year following: Omo Ghetto the Saga and Your Excellency
Co-helmed by Adeoluwa Owu, recognized as Captain Degzy, and Barny Emordu serving as the Director of Photography, filming reportedly concluded on August 11, 2023, following a 35-day shoot.
With the movie’s synopsis revolving around a mother and her five sons, A Tribe Called Judah will prove to be an interesting one.

Funke Akindele plays the role of Jedidah – the mother to five grown up men who are born to five different fathers. Jedidah is intent on breaking the poverty cycle in her family, which she believes is a result of a “generational curse”.
2) Timini Egbuson as Pere Judah
Timini Egbuson concocts with the rest of his brothers to rob a store while wearing costumes in order to break from their cycle of poverty and help their mother. He is also the most mischievous among the Judah Brothers and his mother’s favourite
3) Olumide Oworu as Ejiro Judah
Olumide Oworu plays the role of Ejiro Judah, a son of Jedidah Judah. He is a bit reluctant to carry out the plan of robbing a store to get money because he fears it will send their mother to an early grave.
