The megabucks deal moves the Belgian above Raheem Sterling as the club’s highest earner, although he still has some way to go to overtake the man at number one on the list of Premier League’s highest earners.

The ageing striker is expected to leave in the summer but is still pocketing £210,000-a-week for his troubles.

One appearance on ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ could earn you what Anthony Martial takes home each week. The Frenchman is one of United’s most inconsistent players but is still on a £250,000-a-week deal until 2024.

Thomas Partey was meant to solve Arsenal’s midfield problems. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened as yet.
6. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – £250,000-a-week

De Bruyne makes it into the top three after the midfielder signed a brand spanking new £350,000-a-week deal. The Belgian playmaker ended any speculation over his future by committing to the Etihad until 2025.
