{Intro: Libianca}
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Mhmm, mhmm
From Bamenda, itās Libianca
Oh-oh (A-yo, Mage, itās yoā beat)
{Chorus: Libianca, Ayra Starr, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
Iāve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I donāt smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me? (Did you notice me now?)
{Verse 1: Ayra Starr}
In bed but my mind stay wondering
Overthinking but Iād rather be sleeping
Grab a drink, I need escape now
Two four seven, I be in the state now
But I can no longer depend on it
I become my own worst enemy
I don dey question my own sanity
Waiting to be saved
But Iād rather be alone
than to have fake friend to check on me
Donāt let them get to me
Iām just tired, not tryna be lazy
āCause Iāve got a lot that Iāve been dealing with
I know you understand
I know you understand
{Chorus: Libianca, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
Iāve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I donāt smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
{Verse 2: Libianca & Omah Lay}
Oh, holy father
Oh, holy father, dey try to hold myself
I say make you no leave me diko
Oh, donāt let go
Nine to five, nine to five bebe
Iām the one say Iām the one, okay
Time to time, dey check on me bebe
Once a while
āCause Iāve been drinking more alcohol
So I donāt give a fuck
āCause Iām always by myself
I donāt really need your help
Yes I smoke weed, I canāt find peace
I stay hungry, donāt need
See this vibe oh, cannot force it
Cannot force it oh
{Chorus: Libianca, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
Iāve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I donāt smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
Iāve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I donāt smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
{Outro}
Iāve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?

About
Libianca People remix lyrics ft Omah Lay and Ayra Starr speaks to the fact that people donāt really know you and the kind of things you are going through.
You might put up a smile and pretend like everything is fine and people still pretend like everything is fine with you also without actually asking if you are doing.
It is therefore not surprising that people lyrics by Libianca talks about how she is almost sinking into depression and acute sadness because she has been drinking alcohol for the past five days to keep her mind off things.
But did the people she supposedly calls friends call to find out what’s up with her or check on her. Or even notice that there are many things going wrong with her.
Libianca People remix lyrics ft Omah Lay and Ayra Starr emphasizes that people wonāt and donāt know you despite claiming to do so because there are just so many gaps in between and void in a personās life that people donāt know about.
It is commendable that this is like a breakout song for Libianca and itās already trending and everyone is talking about it.
Infact, Nigeria is getting into that phase of appreciating songs like āPeopleā by Libianca because it is so Alte/R&B. Meanwhile, the fact that they love songs like this, is just so amazing.
This is a deep song that actually talks about peopleās mental health and what they are going through.
People lyrics by Libianca is what makes the song so relatable. Even for those that do not drink alcohol, there are so many things going wrong in their lives and no one will know nothing because once you put on a smile on your face and look good, people assume that you have next to no problems.
But, like Libianca said āPeople donāt really know youā

Profile
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe (born 14 June 2002), known professionally as Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer.
Born in Cotonou, Benin, Ayra Starr began a fashion career at the age of 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to pursue music.
Having been raised in a music-loving family, her interest in singing comes mostly from her family. At the age of 10, she sang in a high school choir and began writing songs with her brother.
She attended Les Cours Sonou University and received aĀ BA degreeĀ in international relations and political science.
During her college years, she was often bullied by her classmates because of her age and appearance. To counter the feelings she experienced from being taunted, Ayra Starr turned to music. āI would listen toĀ Nicki MinajĀ on my way to school, and Iād feel like the second Nicki Minaj.
Ayra Starrās mother was very supportive of her musical ambitions, and always encouraged her to pursue a singing career.
This brought her to the attention of record executive Don Jazzy, and led to her signing to Mavin Records.
In early 2021, Ayra Starr achieved mainstream recognition with her eponymous debut extended play and its hit track āAwayā which spent two consecutive weeks at number four on Nigeriaās TurnTable Top 50 and went to number 17 on USĀ BillboardĀ Top Triller Global, paving the way for the release of her first full-length studio album, 19 & Dangerous in August 2021.
Categorized mainly as Afropop and R&B, the album has been met with favorable critical reception.
It spawned two top forty hits in Nigeria.
The lead single āBloody Samaritanā peaked atop the Top 50 chart, becoming the first solo song by a female artist to reach the number-one position. Starr debuted on Pandora Predictions chart, and on 28 August 2021, she ranked number two on Billboardās Next Big Sound
With the release of her debut eponymous EP, some critics felt that her vocal technique bore a striking resemblance to Temsā musical style. In an interview with Cool FM, Ayra Starr spoke about comparisons to Tems:
āIām a young artist and Tems is an amazing musician, for people to compare me to such an amazing musician, itās a compliment and Iām honoured.ā
Motolani Alake, in his review of the EP for Pulse wrote that āAyra Starr isnāt exactly a replica of Tems, but when she manipulates her vocals to stress the final syllable on words, sentences and cadences by flexing her octaves, she definitely sounds like Tems.ā
Alake also opined that both artists are different and that āTems can be more alternative while Starr is more Nigerian and more Afropop with more lamba in her soul
Although musically diverse,Ā Ayra Starrās sound has predominantly been categorized as Afropop and R&B. Her voice has been described in the media as āsilkyā, ācozyā, ādelicateā, āsturdyā, āarrestingā and āsoulfulā, with music critics noting the dynamic nature of her range and emotional delivery.
Her lyrics are a mixture of English, Pidgin English and Yoruba, often exploring contemporary topics such as love, relationship, empowerment and freedom.
