Chimamanda Adichie shares pictures rejected by international magazine because they were too beautiful
Yesterday, Tuesday December 14, prolific writer and speaker- Chimamanda Adichie shared some pictures on her Instagram page because they were rejected by an international magazine.
She said the pictures were supposed to be for a shoot for an international magazine but the magazine rejected it because they said it was “too glamorous”

Therefore, she decided to showcase the pictures which were actually very glamorous. The post got several likes and about 4,000 comments of celebrities and her fans commending her beauty.
She wrote:
It was a cover shoot for an international magazine. Or it was supposed to be. The magazine rejected the photos. They didn’t want me ‘looking too glamorous,’ they said. And so the cover didn’t happen.
What does one do with rejected photos but show them anyway, primarily for the vanity-boosting benefits 🤷🏾♀️ of such an act, but also to celebrate and thank these talented people in Lagos:
