Versatile South-African singer known by her mononymous stage name- Busiswa, slammed Rihanna’s fenty skin for using the remake of her song “Midnight starring” in the background to advertise their latest products. The ad was showcasing Fenty Beauty’s newest release called ‘Eaze drop blurring skin tint’- A skin care product that comes in 25 shades.

Fans online reacted to this and said they’d have sworn that the song used was Busiswa’s ‘Midnight starring’. This caught the singer’s attention on Twitter and she replied:

Following her reply, her fans started lambasting the brand for not paying the artiste her due and not going through the right sources to get the song. The brand or Rihanna are yet to reply to these accusations.
Busiswa was featured on a track titled ‘My Power’ on Beyonce’s “Lion King: The gift” album alongside Yemi Alade, Moonchild Sannely and Beyonce herself.
Recently, Busiswa has been breaking into the Nigerian music scene with collaborations. One with Naira Marley which was released a few days ago, and another one with Niniola which was a remix of one of Niniola’s old songs. Busiswa has hinted in an interview that people should expect collaborations with Burna Boy, Yemi Alade and Bella Shmurda
