{Glibs}
After much anticipation from fans, and even dropping a teaser, Blaqbonez has released a single- “Commander” off his forthcoming “Young Preacher” album and here are our thoughts:
“Commander” thrives on storytelling to deliver us a nice hit from Blaqbonez! Blaqbonez conveniently takes us on a journey of how he met a lady, how he talked to her, and how she wants to be with him immediately.
It is impressive how Blaqbonez has evolved as an artist. There is much development in his sound now. “Commander” has the sound of a pro, the lyrics are on point- at least, when considering lyricism.
There’s no need to comment on the general theme of the song because it seems that Blaqbonez excels when it comes to singing bad boy songs. Truly, he is on a journey of “Breaking the yoke of love”
Delivery
Blaqbonez’s delivery on “Commander” is notable. He does justice to the beat by Calmly delivering his story and laying it passionately on the beats. We can feel the build-up and honestly, it is commendable.
Blaqbonez puts so much passion into delivering “Commander” and we are impressed by this delivery that we take on a continued interest in the song.
“Commander” shows that Blaqbonez is not a lazy artist; he has never been, and he put in a lot of work for “Commander”
Mixing and Production
Whoever mixed and produced “Commander” deserves his credit! {Well done STG!) Now, when creating songs, people don’t pay attention to making unique beat that stick out among other beats.
This can be a potential for a hit song, and with Blaqbonez’s “Commander“, a hit song has been created!
The beats stick out, and the percussions are on point. It is indeed noteworthy.

Song dynamism/Glibs
“Commander” has its fair share of glibs, but the amusing thing is that they better the song so much that removing them would make the song sound bare.
It is so akin to the song that we can’t help but wonder how Blaqbonez came up with such glibs. It leaves you wondering what Blaqbonez really said on those “Commander” lyrics.
Blaqbonez also develops an amount of flexibility on the chorus- very smart of him. He creates very Catchy memorable lyrics that if you don’t know anything on the song, you take the lines:
“Commander, Commander,
Ah…commander”
Flaws
The only flaw with “Commander” is that it is short. Perhaps if one more verse had been added, it would have been more enjoyable.
But this is not a problem for the song . Its shortness has only improved its replay value and interest in the song.
