Lyricism
Wizkid Diamonds Lyrics points to majorly one thing- He is not about the mid life anymore. The way he flaunts his progress and achievements with Diamonds lyrics points to how he is proud of how far he has come and the things he has put in to actually make it this far and still be at the top. I mean, Diamonds is a culmination of the hurdles and dues that Wizkid has encountered and what he is trying to say with the song which indicates that it all paid off. He is no longer someone you would see riding commercial or being in any space that isn’t VIP because he is no longer about that “normal life”
To an extent, Diamonds lyrics shows that Wizkid is more than VIP. I mean, think about it. The normal rating for any service or person is 5 stars, but that does not mean you actually get 5 stars all the time. However, Wizkid is saying with Diamonds lyrics that he gets all the stars because that’s who he is right now, and he has worked hard enough for it.
Delivery
The Delivery on Diamonds is cool. Wizkid delivers it with that cool but really superstar vibe that makes you see that he has indeed arrived into that “Nigerian Dream” lifestyle.
Relatability
Diamonds songwriting makes it really relatable. I mean, the Nigerian Dream is all about making enough money that not only do not have to worry about having money. You get to eat, dine and live wherever you want because you can AFFORD that lifestyle. Wizkid does not use Diamonds to intimidate or unnecessarily flaunt his lifestyle and success. He is saying that he has a right to that lifestyle because he has earned it. This is what it means.

3Balogun began his career in music when he was just 11 years old. His first record, Lil Prinz, was recorded in 2001 in collaboration with Glorious Five, a group consisting of Balogun and his friends from church.

After multiple delays and label disagreements, he released his sophomore studio album, “Ayo”, in 2014. The record featured a multitude of guest appearances, including a spot from Femi Kuti . It also featured Balogun’s global breakthrough track “Ojuelegba.”
Not only did the single cement his status as one of Nigeria’s biggest pop acts, it was also picked up and remixed by and , thrusting Wizkid into the international spotlight. In return, he appeared on Drake’s 2016 smash single “One Dance.”
In March 2017, Wizkid signed a major deal with RCA and Sony International , which would release his third LP, “Sounds from the Other Side”, later that year. A handful of singles appeared in advance of the album, including “Sweet Love” and the Drake assisted “Come Closer.”
