As you move no dey cross my lane
{Chorus: Ayra Starr}
Shori nonsense, ma gbe sunmomi
Ma gbe sunmomi
If you get problem, ma gbe sunmomi

I dey fight my own demons, don’t you see?
Don’t know, don’t you see?
If you get problem, ma gbe sunmomi
Ma gbe sunmomi

Lyricism
2 Sugar lyrics Wizkid ft Ayra Starr discusses how Ayra Starr wants to focus on herself because while she is currently trying to fight her own demons, people come with their own, especially men.
They come with their problems and want to infuse it into hers without consideration of what she is going through.
2 sugar lyrics Wizkid ft Ayra Starr explores how people have many regrets and decisions to make, so you don’t have to bring yours into their life. According to her, she is still fighting her own demons, so why should she fight her own demons?
At this point, Wikzid joins in and talks more with 2 Sugar lyrics stating that while he may have his own problems, he can’t do without her and their energy matches, so they should definitely get together as they deserve to be together.
He then delves into the universal theme of the song about people always wanting to bring their own trouble into yours.
He says he is trying to live the soft life and show everyone that he just wants peace and now what they want- rivalry.
To an extent, 2 sugar lyrics Wizkid ft Ayra Starr addresses the many things we don’t get to hear enough in songs.
People really need to stop bringing their “shit” into other people’s lives. They need to give other people the space to sort out their own problems because while everyone has problems, some problems are definitely greater than others.
Relatability
Wizkid’s 2 Sugar is so relatable.
There are so many situations where we find ourselves caught between people who claim to love us but we are not sure they actually do, and people who we know definitely hate us. At that point, we need to turn to ourselves because we are most likely to love ourselves more than we love others.
At that point, we need our own self more than we need others.
Delivery
Wikzid and Ayra Starr definitely came through on this track.
True, it may not sound like it’s the best track off this album, and we were actually expecting a love/romantic track between them, but the song is awesome nevertheless.
There is no forced delivery or the need to over impress. 2 sugar is an amazing listen!
