Ckay’s “Love Nwantiti” hits 15 billion views on TikTok, becomes the first Nigerian song to have the highest views and impressions on TikTok

Ckay’s music career started around 2014 when he signed to “Loopy music”. However, when “Loopy music” was merged with popular record label “Chocolate city”, Ckay officially joined “Chocolate city” and has been with them ever since.

Ckay had released two singles “Container” (2019), and “Way” (2019) before releasing his international hit single “Love Nwantiti” in 2019.

“Love Nwantiti” did get some airplay after its release, and people were vibing with the song, but it was almost a sleeper hit, and did not blow up until 2020 and 2021. After the remix of the song with Joeboy and Kuami Eugene, the song charted:

 No 8 in Australia.
 1 in France
 6 in Germany
 1 in Netherlands
 1 In Norway
 No 1 in Sweden
 No 3 in the Uk and
 31 in the US
