He said to Pulse, “I want to put my community on the map. I’ll be the first artist to really break out of Iba, and that means a lot to me. When I started making music I was just a kid.
I’m crazy excited to share my music and be a part of this moment when Afrobeats is going global.
“My aim is to reach as many people as possible with my sound, positive vibes, and energy.”
He was featured alongside Don Jazzy on a song back in 2019. This seems to be the first time they met
{Chorus: Libianca, Ayra Starr, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
I’ve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I don’t smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me? (Did you notice me now?)
{Verse 1: Ayra Starr}
In bed but my mind stay wondering
Overthinking but I’d rather be sleeping
Grab a drink, I need escape now
Two four seven, I be in the state now
But I can no longer depend on it
I become my own worst enemy
I don dey question my own sanity
Waiting to be saved
But I’d rather be alone
than to have fake friend to check on me
Don’t let them get to me
I’m just tired, not tryna be lazy
‘Cause I’ve got a lot that I’ve been dealing with
I know you understand
I know you understand
{Chorus: Libianca, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
I’ve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I don’t smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
{Verse 2: Libianca & Omah Lay}
Oh, holy father
Oh, holy father, dey try to hold myself
I say make you no leave me diko
Oh, don’t let go
Nine to five, nine to five bebe
I’m the one say I’m the one, okay
Time to time, dey check on me bebe
Once a while
‘Cause I’ve been drinking more alcohol
So I don’t give a fuck
‘Cause I’m always by myself
I don’t really need your help
Yes I smoke weed, I can’t find peace
I stay hungry, don’t need
See this vibe oh, cannot force it
Cannot force it oh
{Chorus: Libianca, Libianca & Ayra Starr}
I’ve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I don’t smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
I’ve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
Now, did you look for me?
I walked in the room, eyes are red and I don’t smoke banga
Did you check on me? (Did you check on me?)
Now, did you notice me?
{Outro}
I’ve been drinking more alcohol for the past five days
Did you check on me?
That’s People remix Lyrics by Libianca ft Omah Lay and Ayra Starr
Libianca People remix lyrics ft Omah Lay and Ayra Starr speaks to the fact that people don’t really know you and the kind of things you are going through.
You might put up a smile and pretend like everything is fine and people still pretend like everything is fine with you also without actually asking if you are doing.
It is therefore not surprising that people lyrics by Libianca talks about how she is almost sinking into depression and acute sadness because she has been drinking alcohol for the past five days to keep her mind off things.
But did the people she supposedly calls friends call to find out what’s up with her or check on her. Or even notice that there are many things going wrong with her.
Libianca People remix lyrics ft Omah Lay and Ayra Starr emphasizes that people won’t and don’t know you despite claiming to do so because there are just so many gaps in between and void in a person’s life that people don’t know about.
It is commendable that this is like a breakout song for Libianca and it’s already trending and everyone is talking about it.
Infact, Nigeria is getting into that phase of appreciating songs like “People” by Libianca because it is so Alte/R&B. Meanwhile, the fact that they love songs like this, is just so amazing.
This is a deep song that actually talks about people’s mental health and what they are going through.
People lyrics by Libianca is what makes the song so relatable. Even for those that do not drink alcohol, there are so many things going wrong in their lives and no one will know nothing because once you put on a smile on your face and look good, people assume that you have next to no problems.
But, like Libianca said “People don’t really know you”
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe (born 14 June 2002), known professionally as Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer.
Born in Cotonou, Benin, Ayra Starr began a fashion career at the age of 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to pursue music.
Having been raised in a music-loving family, her interest in singing comes mostly from her family. At the age of 10, she sang in a high school choir and began writing songs with her brother.
She attended Les Cours Sonou University and received a BA degree in international relations and political science.
During her college years, she was often bullied by her classmates because of her age and appearance. To counter the feelings she experienced from being taunted, Ayra Starr turned to music. “I would listen to Nicki Minaj on my way to school, and I’d feel like the second Nicki Minaj.
Ayra Starr’s mother was very supportive of her musical ambitions, and always encouraged her to pursue a singing career.
This brought her to the attention of record executive Don Jazzy, and led to her signing to Mavin Records.
In early 2021, Ayra Starr achieved mainstream recognition with her eponymous debut extended play and its hit track “Away” which spent two consecutive weeks at number four on Nigeria’s TurnTable Top 50 and went to number 17 on US Billboard Top Triller Global, paving the way for the release of her first full-length studio album, 19 & Dangerous in August 2021.
Categorized mainly as Afropop and R&B, the album has been met with favorable critical reception.
It spawned two top forty hits in Nigeria.
The lead single “Bloody Samaritan” peaked atop the Top 50 chart, becoming the first solo song by a female artist to reach the number-one position. Starr debuted on Pandora Predictions chart, and on 28 August 2021, she ranked number two on Billboard’s Next Big Sound
With the release of her debut eponymous EP, some critics felt that her vocal technique bore a striking resemblance to Tems’ musical style. In an interview with Cool FM, Ayra Starr spoke about comparisons to Tems:
“I’m a young artist and Tems is an amazing musician, for people to compare me to such an amazing musician, it’s a compliment and I’m honoured.”
Motolani Alake, in his review of the EP for Pulse wrote that “Ayra Starr isn’t exactly a replica of Tems, but when she manipulates her vocals to stress the final syllable on words, sentences and cadences by flexing her octaves, she definitely sounds like Tems.”
Alake also opined that both artists are different and that “Tems can be more alternative while Starr is more Nigerian and more Afropop with more lamba in her soul
Although musically diverse, Ayra Starr‘s sound has predominantly been categorized as Afropop and R&B. Her voice has been described in the media as “silky”, “cozy”, “delicate”, “sturdy”, “arresting” and “soulful”, with music critics noting the dynamic nature of her range and emotional delivery.
Her lyrics are a mixture of English, Pidgin English and Yoruba, often exploring contemporary topics such as love, relationship, empowerment and freedom.

Who is your guy lyrics is a song that speaks about checking up on people; especially your friends to inquire how they are doing because that’s just extremely important. The song is also about supporting your friends and coming through for them
There are times that we go through life and forget about other people, especially our friends because we are so busy. In actuality, we don’t really forget them, but we don’t check up on them.
Spyro who is your guy speaks to this by stating that we definitely care about those people and that our friends can rest on our shoulders to depend on us because we need each other in this life.
He also uses Who is your guy lyrics to assure his friends that they can never suffer because they have him. As friends, we are supposed to have each other’s backs because that’s when we can truly call ourselves friends.
It’s also when we can pull ourselves out of the most complicated situations. This is what Spyro ft Tiwa Savage Who is your guy remix lyrics emphasizes.
There is always the part where we realize that we are all that we need in this world, but that doesn’t mean we have to leave other people out of the equation. At the end of the day, you find that you will always need people, you will always need your friends.
We need them for dependence, for consolation, to share things with.
The bond with a friend can never be overemphasized because at the end of the day, we find out that there is that innate desire in us to care for someone, to chat with someone about how our lives are going.
We should always be there for our friends and this is what Spyro ft Tiwa Savage Who is your guy remix lyrics talks about.
Delivery
Give it up for Spyro, his delivery on Who is your guy is just so cool. It speaks to us in such an amazing way.
The fact that Spyro even uses quite an upbeat temp for his song means that he made it to be a jam that can be enjoyed so much. There is nothing that holds anyone back from listening to this song because the delivery is just so cool and passionate.
Relatability
Spyro’s Who is your guy is so relatable because we find ourselves in situations where we haven’t called our friends since or we haven’t checked up on them. This song is calling us to do that and care about our people because it matters so much. We need to ask if they are going through anything and offer them our shoulders to cry on.
Replay Value
Spyro’s Who is your guy has a huge replay value because of its sheer lyricism and the reliability, which speaks to us so much.
You can listen to this song on and on without getting tired of it. And the vocals on it too is gold!
