Twitter Ng has been agog with the news as Twitter tweeps took to their handles to state that they feel the same way, and that Wizkid has gone really far for an established rapper like Kanye West to say that his song is the best in the whole world.
The post was captioned alongside a photo:

It appears Kanye West has been listening to the song repeatedly and has fallen in love with it
Singer/songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (aka Wizkid) is one of Nigeria’s biggest R&B crossover acts, having worked with Drake, Skepta, and Chris Brown, among others. He first found regional success in 2011 with the massively popular single “Holla at Your Boy,” which appeared on his debut album, Superstar.
Wizkid went global in 2016 after his collaboration with Drake, “One Dance,” soared to number one in 15 countries, resulting in a multi-album deal with , which issued his Caribbean-influenced major-label debut, “Sounds from the Other Side”, in 2017.
Balogun began his career in music when he was just 11 years old. His first record, Lil Prinz, was recorded in 2001 in collaboration with Glorious Five, a group consisting of Balogun and his friends from church.
In 2006, he started pursuing music full-time, at first collaborating with various Nigerian pop acts including OJB Jezreel, Naeto C, and Banky W By 2011, he was ready to record his debut studio album as a solo artist; Superstar was released by Empire Mates Entertainment to great critical and public acclaim across Africa, propelling Wizkid to stardom in his home country.
After multiple delays and label disagreements, he released his sophomore studio album, “Ayo”, in 2014. The record featured a multitude of guest appearances, including a spot from Femi Kuti . It also featured Balogun’s global breakthrough track “Ojuelegba.”
Not only did the single cement his status as one of Nigeria’s biggest pop acts, it was also picked up and remixed by and , thrusting Wizkid into the international spotlight. In return, he appeared on Drake’s 2016 smash single “One Dance.”
In March 2017, Wizkid signed a major deal with RCA and Sony International , which would release his third LP, “Sounds from the Other Side”, later that year. A handful of singles appeared in advance of the album, including “Sweet Love” and the Drake assisted “Come Closer.”
In October 2018, Wizkid issued a pair of singles, “Master Groove” and “Fever,” to mark Nigeria’s Independence Day. The following year, he joined Beyonce and Saint Jhn for The Lion King: The Gift track “Brown Skin Girl” and released his own single, “Joro.”
The EP “Soundman Vol.1” was issued by Balogun’s “Starboy Entertainment” imprint in 2019. Following his involvement in the successful protests to scrap Nigeria’s controversial Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Wizkid’s fourth album, “Made in Lagos”, arrived in October 2020.
In mid-2019, Wizkid was featured on Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl”, taken from the critically acclaimed The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.
It was described as one of his “shining” moments of 2019, thanks to numerous nominations at major international awards, earning him two Soul Train Music Awards, a NAACP Image Award, a BET Awards, and his first Grammy Award, for Best Music Video.
Later that year, he also released the singles “Joro” and “Ghetto Love”.
On 6 December 2019, Wizkid’s label Starboy Entertainment released the EP Soundman Vol. 1, centering mainly on Wizkid, and containing features from Chronixx, and a variety of other artists.
During 2020, Wizkid featured on various singles, including “Escape” by Akon, “Gbese 2.0” with DJ Tunes and Spax, “Eve Bounce” by Yung L, and “Consider II” with Walshy Fire. He also released a collaboration with American singer, H.E.R., titled “Smile”.
On 17 September, Wizkid released the single “No Stress”, and announced that he would be releasing his fourth album, Made in Lagos, on 15 October 2020.
The album launch was later postponed due to the Nigerian End SARS protests nationwide, until 30 October 2020. Essence“, a single from the album, became the first Nigerian song to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100.
At the 27th annual South African Music Awards, Made in Lagos received a nomination for the Rest of Africa Award.
On 13 August 2021, he released a remix of “Essence”, featuring Canadian singer Justin Bieber.[80] The song became the highest-charting song on the Billboard Hot 100 by an African act, peaking at No. 11 on October 4, 2021.
In November 2021, at the 64th Annual Grammy Award, his album, Made in Lagos and his song “Essence” earned him two Grammy nominations.
In the same month, he also received four Soul Train Awards nominations, winning one for “Essence” for Best collaboration.
On the first anniversary of Made in Lagos, Wizkid announced his fifth album More Love Less Ego, originally set for release on the last day of the Made in Lagos tour, January 22, 2022.
In 2022, Wizkid will headline the Rolling Loud Toronto hip hop festival.

Wining Criteria
The Headies 2022 Winners will be unveiled soon and there is a specific criteria for their wins. Headies 2022 winners will be chosen through a voting or non-voting system.
The Headies Award 2022 winners can either be voted for by their fans or they can be voted for by members of the Headies award who adjudge a project to be considered a win over others or not.
This means The Headies 2022 winners can win based on the number of the votes they have (as voted for by their fans) or based on the decision of a board of people.
The global award for Afrobeats, The Headies, presents the list of Artistes, songs and music projects competing for a Headie plaque at The 15th Headies Awards ceremony holding on September 4, 2022.
Leading the nominations this year is Wizkid with 10 nominations; followed by a tie between first-time nominee, Ayra Starr and returning 2021 ‘Next Rated’ nominee, Tems, with eight nominations. DMW’s Davido follows with seven nominations, alongside former YBNL signee, Adekunle Gold.
YBNL Record Label Boss and Pop singer, Olamide, his prodigy Fireboy, and Brymo follow with six nominations. Ladipoe, Lojay, and BNXN all bag five nominations. Closely followed by Vector, Sarz, A-Q and Blaqbonez who all have four nominations each.
This year, with the Award expanding outside the shores of its home country Nigeria to one of the world’s biggest music capital, Atlanta, USA, it has also expanded its scope of nominations to include more African regions and Artistes.
This has increased the number of Award categories from 26 to 35 categories with 118 nominees in total and 27 of these nominees coming from other parts of Africa like Benin Republic, Tanzania, Rwanda, DR Congo, Cameroon, Carpe Verde, Kenya, Egypt, Tunisia, Morrocco, Algeria, South Africa, Mali, Mozambique, Sao Tome & Principe, and Ghana.
With the year in review spanning fifteen months from October 2020 to December 2021, a few categories have gotten more nominations than usual.
Topping the list with the highest nominations for a category is “The Headies Viewer’s Choice Awards” with eight nominees.
Every year, The Headies welcomes new entrants and making debut appearances this year include Liya, Ibejii, Fave, Pink, Ayra Starr, Nektunez, Goya Menor, Ugoccie, Portable, Poco Lee, Made Kuti, Blaise Beats, Beats By Jayy, Rexxie, Lojay, Ruger, AV, Basketmouth, Ajebo Hustlers, T.I. Blaze, Magixx, Gyakie, Amaarae, Angélique Kidjo, Black Coffee and many other African talents.
During The Headies Big Announcement on March 12, 2022, the Executive Producer revealed the upgraded prize for the most coveted “Next Rated” category, the 2022 Bently Bentiaga. Strongly contending for this prize in 2022, are Mavin’s ‘19 & Dangerous sweetheart’ – Ayra Starr; BNXN formerly named Buju; Lojay; Ruger and the Marlian signee, Zinoleesky.
To further entrench its values as the global awards for Afrobeats, The Headies Academy have created more opportunities to include and celebrate more African talents on the world stage.
Some of these changes include, updating the description of the “Next Rated” category from previously being opened to the Next Most Promising Artiste within the year, to also including artistes who have also released Albums or EPs with more than 5 tracks and/or 18 minutes play time, within the year in review.
The Academy will also start considering artists for the Next Most Promising Artiste even if they’ve released albums in the year of review.
The “Headies Revelation of the Year” was dissolved. The “Artiste of the Year “category was also dissolved and replaced with the “Best Male Artiste” and “Best Female Artiste” of the Year.
The “Best Pop Single” and “Best Pop Album” categories were both renamed “Best Afrobeats Song (Nigeria)” and “Best Afrobeats Album (Nigeria)”, to embrace the global music nomenclature for predominantly mainstream Nigerian music – “Afrobeats”.
Other new Award categories introduced include, “African Artiste of the Year”, “International Artiste Recognition”, “Best West African Artiste”, “Best East African Artiste”, “Best North African Artiste”, “Best Central African Artiste”, “Best Southern African Artiste” and Humanitarian Award of the Year”.
Joining the “Headies Hall of Fame” this year is one of Africa’s biggest music exports and daugther of Benin Republic, Angélique Kidjo. She will be the first female recipient of this recognition Award and the first since the Awards left it’s home country, Nigeria.
Angelina Kidjoe will be joining the likes of King Sunny Ade, Evang. Ebenezer Obey; Chris Ubosi; 2Face Idibia; Sir. That’s Call of Duty lyrics by Zinoleesky
Lyricism
Call of Duty lyrics highlight how he has promised to be dutiful to a lady no matter what he goes through because he has feelings too and he is ready to channel his feelings into something positive by taking care of his bae.
However, it seems his bae is not is not his officially because it sounds like he is still making a proposal to her and she keeps turning him down.
This is why Call of duty lyrics spell out why and how he is able to take care of the lady in question.
To an extent, Call of duty extends to the part where he starts listing the things he would do and the things he has just to impress the lady.
Here, Call of duty lyrics rests on whether or not Zinoleesky is willing to give it all to be with the lady.
When we get to the chorus, we understand what Zinoleesky means by Call of Duty lyrics.
Zinoleesky call of duty lyrics spells out that taking care of the lady and satisfying her sexually is his call of duty and he understands that.
He wants to prove to her that not only does he understand what she wants, he can give it to her as much as she wants.
That’s what Call of duty implies.
Relatability
The fact that Zinoleesky is imaginative enough to equate the popular Call of Duty game to devotion to his lover is applauding.
He states over and over again that like the game, he is ready to devote everything he has: himself, his time and his resources to making his girl happy because according to him, “I be inside playing call of duty”.
Zinoleesky
Also, he states in another verse that he wants her friend to meet his friends and he wants them all to hangout. That’s what you do when you are serious about someone and you have intentions of really being with them.
It makes Zinoleesky Call of Duty lyrics makes sense.
Even if you don’t play Call of Duty, there’s literally no way you won’t understand the song.
Delivery
Zinoleesky always delivers because apart from lyricism, that just seems to be his forte. He knows how to deliver as passionately as possible and this is what he did with Call of Duty. We feel every line and every stanza he delivers.
Oniyide Azeez, also known as Zinoleesky, is a singer, songwriter, stage performer, musician, and entertainer. On November 21st, 1995, he was born in Ogun State.
He is currently 27 years old (as at 2022).The brilliant young musician is one of many artists signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music Record Label, including C Blvck, Mohbad, Fabian Blu, and Lyta.
When Zino took part in Kizz Daniel’s “Fvck You” freestyle challenge on Instagram, he gained attention. Kizz The musician published the freestyle video on his page after Daniel expressed his admiration for it.
With hits like Gone Far, Kilofeshe, Ma Pariwo, Wo Wa Mi, and Rocking, he is regarded as one of the Afrobeats genre’s future defenders.
He contributed to the 2021 single Don’t Call Me by Lil Kesh as a featured artist. In addition, he has had a few singles of his own, including Gone Far, Blessings, Naira Marley, and Rolla Costa, among others.

Machala lyrics talks about how Carterefe supposedly met Wizkid in Ghana and this inspired him to write a song about him.
Machala lyrics is an ode to Wizkid to praise him for how big he is and how far he has come.
Machala lyrics also talks about how the singer is greatly inspired by Wizkid and he is now supposedly looking like him because people accord him respect because he has met Wizkid.
Carterefe ft Berri Tiga
Also, Machala lyrics also speaks to how the singers are now making money because if they hadn’t been making money, one of them would probably not have met Wizkid and they would have lost that great opportunity.
Machala lyrics points to how the guys have dedicated a whole song to him because he is simply one of the greatest to ever do it.
Machala lyrics indicates how Wizkid has gone international and how everyone wants to be like him Like Wizkid, the singers want to be like Wizkid now and they can’t hid it.
It would seem that Machala lyrics was brought out by the fact that the guys met Wizkid in Ghana and they probably asked his permission to sing “Machala” or they probably didn’t.
Relatability
This song is relatable in ways that it sounds catchy and it is a song of adulation and credit to Wizkid.
I mean, we know they also did it to get streams from Wizkid fans, but the song is relatable in some ways.
Machala lyrics for one, gives Wizkid the much needed respect on the song and how it has given them the needed energy to make their debut.
Also, Machala lyrics talks about how they want to “focus” like Wizkid and go global. They “don’t want to like any girl” because girls are obviously distractions and they need to be like Wizkid- The Machala.
Also, these guys sound like a mash up of Zinoleesky and Rema, weird…
Delivery
Carterefe and Berri Tiga deliver this song and that’s what makes it more enjoyable apart from the lyrics. Their delivery on this song is spanking, and it really helps the song.
It increases the relay value of the song and inspires us to listen to the song as many times as we can.
Flaw(s)
This writer is trying very hard to find a flaw with this song. However, Machala lyrics, as well as its delivery, makes this song sound like a jam.
True, it was made with Wizkid’s name, but it honestly sounds so good it might be a Wizkid song. The dancehall influence on this song is mad….

Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics first speaks on how distance in a relationship affects Oxlade because he loves the lady I question so much.
Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics implores the lady to trust him well enough to believe that he loves her so much.
It appears Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics here is meant to use the “Ku lo sa” part as an adlib that makes the song catchy.
Oxlade/Colors
And yes, it works. It means “Closer“.
To an extent, Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics helps in making the song very understandable because it speaks to how Oxlade makes so many promises to the lady because he loves her very much and he wouldn’t want to lose her.
He says he wants to retire with her.
You don’t retire with someone you don’t love. Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics is appropriate with the song when examining how Oxlade states that he knows that her father does not like him, but he promises never to break her heart.
Delivery
Oxlade delivers Kulosa like it’s a hit single. And no wonder it’s blowing up everywhere. The song was well delivered because Oxlade put so much passion into the song.
First, the way Oxlade delivers Kulosa reminds one of his last single “Want you”, which did not actually blow up as expected. Meanwhile, Kulosa fills that gap easily. It’s a jam. The way Oxlade vocalizes on the song makes it way more interesting.
Oxlade
Relatability
Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics makes it very relatable.
I mean, everyone has to impress their boo or bae at any time they want to woo them.
The way Oxlade woos the lady shows that he cares about her so much. Most times, this is how guys do to the lady they love so much because they just must “have” them.
Replay Value
Oxlade Ku lo sa lyrics as well as the delivery makes this song a jam and increases its replay value.
